In mid Februrary 2013 I started my two months tenure as a researcher in residence in the faculty of theology at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, the Netherlands. My research area is Chan/Zen Practice in China and the West. Members are from Belgium, Netherlands, France, UK, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Israel, Korea, Hawaii, California and Canada. We are interested in promoting the principles of Buddhist psychology, Zen Therapy and Amida-shu, particulerly following the ideas and writings of David Brazier. We are a network of spiritual organisations, each with its own individual approach. There are members in ten countries so far with a variety of orientations (Pureland, Zen, Tibetan, Theravada, Mindfulness, Generic Spiritual). {} Estamos interesados ​​en la promoción de los principios de la psicología budista, Terapia Zen y Amida-shu, particulerly siguiendo las ideas y los de David Brazier. In addition to offering a wide variety of one-off courses and seminars, we are developing an international training programme in Zen Therapy, Counselling 7 Psychotherapy. This programme is continuous with the Amida programme in the UK which has been continuously developing since 1981. Now the international range of the programme is being extended through an on-line facility to be called the Amida Academy, a department of ITZI. {}

En adición de ofrecer una amplia variedad de cursos singulares y seminarios, estamos desarrollando un programa internacional de formación en Terapia Zen, Asesoramiento, y Psicoterapia. Este programa continua el programa de Amida en el Reino Unido que ha sido desarrollando continuamente desde 1981. Ahora la gama internacional del programa se está extendiendo a través de un servicio en línea que se llama la Academia Amida, un departamento de Itzi.
